Such complex flavor!

I was excited to see a vegetarian option in the lineup! The flavor of this meal is so complex that it definitely doesn't feel like a backpacking meal. It has a smoky flavor that was a bit strong for my palate but it rehydrated well. I'd love to see more vegetarian varieties added, maybe like a Chana Masala, because everything from this lineup is beyond standards!

Holy Noms!

As a vegetarian, it can be difficult to find tasty backpacking meals that don't include meat. So when I saw this one I was super excited to try. Its rich and creamy with tons of flavor to the point where I forgot I was even eating a backpacking meal. Definitely going to purchase again.

Enjoyed my meal in the Colorado Rockies

I had this and the Crawfish one while I was on the Colorado Trail! It was the perfect dinner after hiking all day. The ingredients mix really well together and dehydrated quicker than I thought it would. Would definitely purchase again! And I love that it is made by Thru hikers! As a thru hiker myself I love supporting other thru hikers! Can't wait to bring some along on my next adventure!

Flavorful, comforting, delicious

This was perfect! I couldn't believe that rehydrated tomatoes could be so flavorful. We enjoyed our Bowl & Kettle from the Taipei airport during a layover to SE Asia. It was 10000% better than our airplane food and I can't wait to try it on a hike next time!
