If you like street corn, and you like grits, you will LOVE this! It's sooooo good! I especially liked the chunks of tomato, mushrooms, and whole kennel corn. I'm sad that it's currently sold out. 😞 Hopefully it'll be back in stock before our trip to the Superior Hiking Trail in October!!!
Had a package of the Mexican Street Corn Grits for dinner during my last overnight camping trip. When I got home I immediately went over to GGG to order another package and realized they were sold out. I didn't panic, I just looked to B&K to help me get my fix. Ordered two more packages for me and one for a friend. These grits were so tasty that I've been recommending them to everyone I know that hikes or camps. They're very filling as well. I couldn't finish my whole meal.
I finally got around to a solo camp where I didn’t want to bring a bunch of cook gear and simply rely on prepackaged meals. I grabbed a couple meals out of my bin. Oddly, the dinner package seemed less voluminous than my intended Bowl & Kettle grits breakfast. I was a bit worried that breakfast would be way too much. While, dinner was disappointing, B&K grits for breakfast was an absolute delight. After opening the pouch, it all made sense. The taste and mouthfeel was so extraordinary, that I forgot that it was a prepackaged meal. Well done, folks! OBTW, I have a Tikka Massala meal sitting in the bin, but that’s the next one that will be heading out with me
It’s super good… I’d buy it again. The etouffee is the top of the podium, and this sits on the 2nd step.
All of the ingredients survived a rough trip in the luggage of an offroad motorcycle… somemof my other snacks turned to powder.
